My name is Meryl Rose Phillips. I am a renovator, business owner and artist living in Oakland, California. When I'm not busy with one of several "day jobs" (working seasonally with the Oakland A's and Raiders, working for my family's real estate company 366 Development or for wonderful "solopreneur" mom Tamara Holland at Bean Up the Nose Art) you can find me taking care of my adorable daughter Zoe. Or renovating our nearly 100 year old home. Or working on the handyman and design business my boyfriend Chris Miller and I started. Yup, that's right, I'm a stay-at-home-working-mom.

After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Mills College in 2009 with a degree in Art, I decided that I was going to try to make a living in the most creative way I could. And over these last several years I have done just that. Whether it's managing apartment renovations or overseeing the bookkeeping at my family's real estate company, giving you excellent slo-mo replays when you go to an Oakland A's game, putting my obsessive compulsive tendencies to excellent use by helping other people organize their homes, offices and garages, starting a handyman and design business with my boyfriend, or designing shoes and greeting cards - all of these creative endeavors are constantly feeding my creative and ambitious brain.
